"I have known John Howell since his days as National Coaching Director with New Zealand Cricket. When he started his Cricket Academy at Te Puna I was certain the area would benefit from his expertise and passion for the game and have always been very keen to take groups down to his facility. I have never been disappointed with any of the trips and inevitably the players are fizzing when they leave.

"Rosmini College's First XI, 2nd XI and Junior Premier (Year 9 & 10) sides have attended pre-season training camps at the Howell Cricket Academy for several years. The training camps have assisted our players and teams to achieve some great results over the past 5 years, including Runner-Up in the ACA 1st XI 2-Day Competition in 2007/08.

I have had the pleasure of working with John both in a professional and personal capacity. In my professional capacity as the Assistant Principal of Greenpark School. John has taught all 700 Greenpark students throwing, catching and striking skills as well as basic cricket skills. He provides the school with school wide evaluation on the programmes he provides.
